Kaffy, Maria Okan, Seyi Sodimu, Blessing Effiom-Egbe are a year older today

Kaffy, is a Nigerian dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach.

She is also the founder and owner of Imagneto Dance Company and is known for breaking the Guinness World Records as the Longest Dance Party at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006.

Veteran singer Seyi Sodimu, dancer, Kaffy and OAP Maria Okanrende are a year older today!

Best known for his hit single, 'Love me Jeje', Seyi Sodimu can also be called a pioneer of the Nigerian music industry.

He attended The Fountain School Surulere for his elementary education, completed his secondary school education at Igbobi College, Yaba and then moved to the United States to continue his education at Prince George's Community College in Maryland.

His first album "Born in Afrika" in 1998, had the hit song "Love me jeje, love me tender". The "Born in Afrika" album was released under Shakara Entertainment which topped charts in Nigeria and sold over 30,000 copies in the first couple weeks of its release.

The album also earned him nominations and awards in Nigeria.

Born in LondonEngland, June 30, 1987, Maria Okanrende is a co-host of The Morning Rush on the Beat 99.9 FM and a TV anchor. She played the role of Foye on the 3rd season of MTV's "Shuga" and has worked with the BBC, MTV, and Dropout UK.

She has interviewed superstars, including Jessie J, Wizkid, 2Face, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and more.

Blessing Effiom-Egbe attended the University of Calabar where she graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts in 2001.

While waiting to participate in the national youth service program, Blessing worked in the banking industry for 6 months before joining the glamour industry as a model.

Her model career began with the Silverbird International Fashion show, shortly after, she won THE ECOWAS BEST MODEL competition in 2002.

After a while, Blessing enrolled at the City Varsity film school, Cape Town, South Africa, where she studied script writing and production.

Ever since, she has been launched into a life of directing and movie production.
