President Muhammadu Buhari's letter to the Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki, stating the names of ministerial nominees has been revealed.

President Muhammadu Buhari's letter to the Nigerian Senate President, Bukola Saraki, stating the names of ministerial nominees has been revealed.

In the letter, Buhari explained that the list is a 'partial one' due for screening and approval by the Senate.

The President urged the Senate to expedite action over the list.

"It is my hope that this exercise will receive the usual kind expeditious consideration of the Distinguished Members of the Senate of the Federal Republic," Buhari wrote.

But the Senate President on his Facebook Page wrote that the screening of the ministerial nominees will not commence until Tuesday, 13 of October, 2015.
