Ex-minister has something to say about Buhari’s new appointments

Fani-Kayode accused Buhari of favouring the North in his appointments and told Nigerians to enjoy the change which they chose.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has spoken out on the recent appointments made by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The motto of Buhari’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is “Change”.

The former Minister made the comments on Facebook on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

He said:

“Nigerians wanted ‘change’ and now we have got it. No one should complain because this is what our people wanted. Those of us that warned the country that this would happen were insulted and lampooned."

"Now we have to live with the consequences of our choice for the next four years. Welcome to the new Nigeria. Welcome to ‘change’”

Fani-Kayode’s comments come after Buhari appointed a northerner as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and another as his Chief of Staff.
