Doyin Okupe’s son invites him to join APC

Ditan said this in a post which he published on Twitter recently.

He said “I have said repeatedly that my decision was not based on revenge. I'm not even sure if my father is officially a pdp member or if he is actually on their campaign, but I will like to give my father @doyinokupe who I love, an open invitation to join the winning team now.”

Ditan joined the re-election campaign team of President Buhari in November 2018.

The spokesperson for the President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo alsocelebrated it on Twitter.

Father raises alarm

In his response, Dr Okupe said that his son, Ditan might have joined the APC to get back at him.

He said “Ditan okupe is my Son. He is a very brilliant young man. He went to Kings college, Lagos, Burkinham university, UK &did post graduate in law at d London school of economics.We both hv had serious issues in the last 5yrs.This may be his way of getting back at me. I wish him luck.”

Also, Olujonwo Obasanjo, the son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday, November 1, 2018, pledged to ensure that Buhari is re-elected in 2019.

He made the pledge after he met with Mr. President at the Presidential Villa,  Abuja.

Dr. Doyin Okupe was the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
