Forum urges President to be firm, painstaking in anti-corruption crusade

He stressed the need for those in power to be more thorough in managing available resources for efficiency.

President Muhammadu Buhari has been told to be firm and painstaking in the anti-corruption crusade.

Alhaji Ahmed Olayiwola, Chairman Forum of Professionals in Kwara, made the call when he spoke with newsmen in llorin on Wednesday, August 12

He suggested that efforts should be made to fast track the judicial process to make the whole effort productive.

Olayiwola called for prudent management of resources to pave way for sustainable socio-economic stability of the country.

He said abandoned projects and corruption were widespread across the country, adding that the rising levels called for concern.

On the recently abolished fixed charges and estimated billing for use of electricity, Olayiwola said it was a remarkable step and in the interest of the masses.
