The man believed to be a medical doctor was said to have told his driver to park by the railings of the bridge after he allegedly received a call, and jumped into the lagoon.

The unidentified man was in a Nissan Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) en route to Lagos Island when the incident occurred on Sunday, March 19.

The LASEMA General Manager, Mr. Adesina Tiamiyu, said local divers and his men are still searching for the man in the water.
