Emir of Kano strips Ado Bayero's son of 'Chiroma' title

It would be recalled that the late emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero had lost to the incumbent emir in June 2014.

 

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Lamido Sanusi II, has stripped Alhaji Sanusi Ado-Bayero, the eldest son of his predecessor of his Chiroma ofKano title, Vanguard reports.

Details are sketchy as to what warranted the development.

It would be recalled that the late emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero (Sanusi Ado Bayero's father) had lost to the incumbent emir in June 2014 in a bitter succession dispute.
