Aftermath of Maiduguri suicide bomb blast [Video]
On Thursday May 12, 2016, a suicide bomber blew up a government building in Maiduguri, Borno State, killing at least four people immediately.

The suicide bomber detonated a bomb at the Borno State Secretariat, killing several people.
The previous day, there had been a foiled attempt by another suicide bomber who had tried to blow up a mosque. The plot failed because only the bomber died.
