VP denies involvement in ASUU negotiation

In a short tweet, the VP's spokesman, Laolu Akande, stressed that the report of the VP taking over the negotiation is untrue and inaccurate.
"News reports that VP Osinbajo has taken over ASUU negotiations is untrue & inaccurate. Labour & Education Ministers continue to lead d talks," Akande tweeted.
This is coming after the minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige reportedly said the Vice President has taken over the negotiation as the new head of the Federal Government negotiation team.

Ngige reportedly made this known while briefing State House correspondents after the Wednesday August 30, 2017’s Federal Executive Council, FEC.
Ngige is yet to respond to the denial from the Vice President's office, which was endorsed by the Vice President himself with a retweet of the tweet.
