Uncertainty over publisher’s EFCC summon

The EFCC should show Nigerians that they are no respecter of persons, no matter how highly placed they are.

News filtering in from our sources say the publisher of ThisDay Newspapers, Nduka Obaigbena was purportedly invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to clarify allegations.

According to a classified letter posted by Sun Newspapers, online, Obiagbena was slated to meet with the anti-graft agency on July 7th, 2015.

Nigerians are yet to know the outcome of the meeting. Another question making the rounds is if he honoured the request.

Our sources say Mr. Obaigbena is holidaying in the United States.
