Mr John-Kennedy Opara, the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), has commiserated with Mrs Adefemi Taire, the Federal Commissioner representing South-West zone over the death of her husband, late Chief Adefemi Taire, which occurred on Oct 13.

Mr Celestine Ogugua, the Head of Media of the commission, said in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja that Opara conveyed the sympathy of the commission in a condolence letter.

"As Christians and heirs together in His kingdom, however, we are consoled in the Lord knowing that death remains the only exit to our heavenly reunion in spite of the pains and devastation,’’ the statement quoted the letter in part.

It said Opara assured the bereaved that the entire commission would continue to stand by the family during this difficult time.
