FG to begin N500b social intervention program June 11 – Minister

This is coming on the heels of the launch of the home grown school feeding programwhich was flagged-off by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

The Federal Government also announced the commencement of the recruitment of 500,000 teachers on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

Speaking at the Buharimeter Town Hall meeting in Abuja on Thursday, June 9, 2016, the minister said “The Change we promised is real, and with the takeoff of our massive social intervention programmes in a few days, Nigerians will begin to feel the impact of the new order.’’

Lai Mohammed also revealed that he regrets speaking too much during the campaign periods for the 2015 General Elections.

The town hall meeting was organised by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD).
