Adeleke, who died on Sunday, April 23, was laid to rest on Monday, 24, at his country home in Ede.
The ceremony was attended by Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state and his Ondo counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu among others.
Adeleke died early on Sunday after suffering a heart attack at the Bikets hospital in Osogbo.
He was the first executive Governor of Osun State and a two term Senator and was due to contest the 2018 governorship elections on the platform of the APC.

Meanwhile, a slight drama occurred at Adeleke's burial when a mob caused a canopy to fall on Amosun, Akeredolu and other guests at the ceremony.
The crowd, made up of Adeleke’s supporters, crashed down the canopy in a bid to chase out Idiat Babalola, a commissioner nominated by Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola.
The trouble is said to have started when Babalola was seen at Adeleke’s burial by a group of youth who demanded that she be sent out.
According to Punch, the youths alleged that Adeleke was poisoned by some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and that Babalola was expected to be the running mate of the new candidate.
The mob then shook the canopy where Amosun and Akeredolu were seated in order to chase out Babalola who they described as a betrayer.
Babalola was eventually escorted out of the premises by Amosun and his security aides while she was stoned by the angry youths.
