This is coming after over 22,000 cultists who embraced Governor Nyesom Wike’s amnesty program surrendered their weapons.

According to Daily Post, the cultists left a notice at the scene of the attack saying they are aggrieved youths from ONELGA.

Also, reports say another group of gunmen attacked two soldiers who were trying to fix their car at a junction in Ndoni in the ONELGA area.

One of the soldiers and a civilian were reported dead, while the other soldier and another civilian sustained gunshot wounds.

The caretaker committee chairman, Osi Olisah has placed a ban on the use of commercial motorbikes from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Olisah also called on security agencies to implement the ban strictly till further notice.

Also, Governor Wike, while speaking on the issue on cultism, directed security agencies to go after all cultists and kidnapperswho refused to voluntarily accept the amnesty offer.
