Commissioner, High Court Judge kidnapped!

Justice Christopher Olorunyomi of the State High Court was also abducted in the same area on May 27 and he is yet to be found.

 

Gunmen, numbering six, have kidnapped the Kogi State Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Stephen Maiyaki.

NAN reports that Maiyaki was kidnapped at about 8.30 a.m. on Sunday, May 31, in his farm at Osara in Adavi Local Government Area of the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Shola Adebayo, confirmed the incident, but said details will be provided later.

However, Justice Christopher Olorunyomi of the State High Court was also abducted in the same area on May 27 and he is yet to be found.

His abductors are said to be demanding N150 million in exchange for his release.
