Police command warn violators of public peace

Public peace violators have been giving a stern warning by the Police Command in Abuja to steer off causing chaos or risk being dealt with.

Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris

The warning is contained in a statement issued by the command's Spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, on Monday in Abuja.

He said that the command was concerned about some individuals and group of persons who lay siege to the Federal Capital City in the form of protests and demonstrations.

Manzah stated that the actions being carried out in disorderly and sometimes riotous manner was creating unwarranted tension and apprehension among law abiding citizens.
