President sacks NPA director, no reason given
A new NPA Managing Director, Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero, is expected to resume on Thursday, April 30, 2015.

It is unclear why Abdullahi was removed, as no reason was given.
According to a statement on Wednesday, April 29, the presidency has approved a replacement for the position, in the person of Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero, a lawyer from Kano state.
The new NPA director’s appointment is expected to be effective by Thursday, April 30, 2015.

The statement said, “President Jonathan thanks the outgoing Managing Director for his services and wishes well in his future endeavours.”
