President Goodluck Jonathan has launched a new online mobile platform, known as X-Gen, while visiting the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The platform is to enable about 30 million domestic investors have access to the market and to increase the number of local investors in the country. It is also aimed at improving the trading of government bonds, treasury bills and other instruments at the market.
Sitting presidents who had visited the NSE include former military president Ibrahim Babangida and late Umaru Yar’adua, in 1988 and 2007 respectively.
