NNPC receives 7 cargoes of petrol to ease shortage

This was disclosed by the Executive Director, Supply and Distribution, Pipeline Products and Marketing Company (PPMC), Justin Ezeala while speaking to journalists in Lagos on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

“I am happy to announce that as at today we have received seven cargoes of PMS,” he said.

“We are apparently ahead of schedule in terms of our importation and what we do is that as these cargoes come in we send to Port Harcourt, Warri, Calabar.

“Of course most of it is kept in Lagos to distribute to major cities,” he added.

Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu had earlier promised that the scarcity would be over by the weekend.
