President meets US congress delegation [PHOTOS]

The delegation led by Congress man Darrell Issa, said during the meeting that the US is considering lifting the arms ban on Nigeria which was occasioned by the Leahy Law.

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, August 3, 2015, met with a delegation of US congress men and women in Abuja.

The delegation led by Congress man Darrell Issa, said, during the meeting that the US is considering lifting the arms ban on Nigeria which was occasioned by the Leahy Law.

The Leahy Law restricts the US from selling arms to countries whose troops have been accused of human rights violations.
