The President, who prayed that God will comfort the people of India, also assured them that Nigerians are with them in their time of sorrow.

According to Punch, Buhari, in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said “The loss of human life on whatever scale, and anywhere, is bad enough. The world becomes united in sorrow during such moments because our common humanity makes us a family.”

Meanwhile, still on international matters, the presidency has insisted that Buhari did not donate $500m to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, as speculated.

A US non-governmental group, the American Black Group for Democracy had earlier alleged that the money was pledged to the US Secretary of State, John Kerry in Abuja.
