President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in New York to attend the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Buhari departed Nigeria yesterday, September 24, 2015, along with a 21-man delegation.

He was received at the John F Kennedy International Airport by Nigerian Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Prof Joy Ogwu, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Paul Bulus Lolo and National Security Adviser, Monguno Babagana.

Buhari is also expected to hold talks with UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki Moon, United States President, Barack Obama, President Francois Hollande of France and British Prime Minister, David Cameron during his stay in New York.
