President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Dominic Abonyi as the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON).

According to the statement, Abonyi’s appointment took effect from Sept. 3, in accordance with the provisions of Environmental Health Offices Act of 2002.
Abonyi was, until his appointment, the Head of Department of Registration, Ethics, Standard and Enforcement of the council.
