Nigerian Immigration Service releases journalist, Salkida’s passport

The journalist was earlier declared wanted by the Nigeria Army authorities following his links with the Boko Haram sect.

The journalist, who is reportedly based in the United Arab Emirate (UAE) was declared wanted by the Nigeria Army authorities sometime ago.

Salkida was later arrested when he came into the country from the United Arab Emirate (UAE) and allowed to go after talks with the Army.

Ahmad Salkida, in a Tweet on Monday, December 5, 2016, said “Just In: The Nigerian Immigration has just handed me my passport. I wish to thank all those that believe in me, I will remain true, always!”

The Army declared Salkida wanted alongside two others, Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil in connection with a video showing some of the Chibok girls.
