Gov. stops Oyegun, APC from using state owned stadium

It should be noted that Governor Ayade contested and won the election to run the affairs of the state under the PDP.

According to a report by Daily Trust, the stadium was billed to host the grand reception of former members of the Peoples Democratic Party, who had defect to the APC but was held by the authorities of the stadium, who claimed a PDP rally had been scheduled to hold at the venue on the same day.

A source in the stadium said, 'The APC members were told to look for an alternative venue, because a PDP Youth rally is billed for the venue.'

It was further reported that the APC chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun and other top shots had arrived Calabar on Friday, February 12, 2016 ahead of the formal reception of former Senate leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba and 10 other stalwarts of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
