Harley Pasternak told Us Weekly that Jessica focused on the 165 of the 168 hours [a week] when [she was] not working out. According to Pasternak, this was the most impactful time for her weight loss. Based on Paternak's statement, it seems as if Jessica was only working out for about three hours each week.
Once you become a mom , its not about you anymore. Youre living for something else, for someone else, and so you have to really be efficient with your time and you have to do things that are not quick fixes, [but] that are long fixes, he said. So with Jessica Simpson, weve been working with her for so many years. This time was different because it really clicked in her that, Okay, I want to do what I can do not just for the next 30 days or 90 days, [but] for the rest of my life.
Pasternak had Jessica track steps on her Fitbit with the goal of getting at least 12,000 steps a day . The two also monitored Jessicas quality of quantity of sleep and her food, Pasternak said. Jessica also ate (and, it sounds like continues to eat) three meals and two snacks a day that have protein, fiber, and healthy fat, Pasternak said.
Pasternak previously told Us Weekly that Jessica focused a lot on her diet . "Its not about the workouts," he said. You dont lose weight doing biceps curls and lunges. You lose weight by changing your diet, hitting your step goal, working on your sleep those were the things she did so well.
Pasternak also said that Jessica completely cut out alcohol. I am pretty sure she would not have been as incredibly successful in this physique transformation if she was drinking, he said.
Jessica's transformation was nothing short of amazingand she continues to look phenomenal. Jessica FTW!
