All the surprise celebrity weddings we've had in 2018 so far!

Everyone loves a surprise, especially if its such a fantastic one as some of our favourite celebs getting engaged and planning their weddings on the low, only to announce the ceremony at the very last minute!

So far in 2018, there have been a couple of surprise weddings that reeeeeeeally caught everyone off guard. Lala Akindoju and Chef Fregz really did pull a fast one of everyone. Phew!

But, hey, we still love them for it. These surprise weddings are just as lovelyas the ones we followed every step of the way.

These 5 celebs listed below have given us some beautiful surprises with their weddings in 2018 so far!

1. Lala Akindoju & Chef Fregz

Had to be them, right?

The actress and her celeb chef groom kept their relationship, proposal and engagement on the low so much that none of us caught a whiff of it - until the morning of the traditional wedding!

They then went on to have the time of their lives at that ceremony and at the outdoor Christian wedding ceremony that followed.

The #Asewereniseoluwa wedding actually snuck up on us as September's surprise!

2. Zainab Balogun

When actress, Zainab Balogun, had her traditional wedding with her boo, Dikko Nwachukwu in May, not much was known of the ceremony until the day itself. Not many people even knew about the whole relationship!

No fanfare, no social media updates before the day as one would expect from a celeb tying the knot with the love of her life.

As a matter of fact, as at the time of this article's publishing, six months after the ceremony, there isn't a photo of it on the talented actress' Instagram page.

Talk about catching people by surprise!

3. Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi & Femisoro Ajayi

The OAP's weddingheld just this past weekend when she and Falz' manager, Femisoro Ajayi exchanged wedding vows in front of family, friends and industry buddies.

The relationship and the upcoming wedding [at time] was not known until about two weeks to the ceremony when Instagram Blogger, InstaBlog9ja, somehow got the wedding invite and broke the story.

And were we surprised? Of course!

4. Linda Ejiofor & Ibrahim Suleiman

The actors are set to become the fourth "Tinsel couple" to tie the knot!

While they're not particularly married yet, the couple are so close to it already, with a bridal shower already held for the bride-to-be!

It's one more wedding story that came as a surprise. We didn't see that one coming - and be sincere, neither did you!

5. Tania Omotayo

Tania had her traditional wedding ceremony with her partner, Sumbo, an investor who co-owns a popular lounge in Lagos on October 21.

The ceremony was held amidst rumours that the bride was already in the first trimester of the pregnancy at the time of the ceremony.

We were kinda surprised by this one, too - both by the ceremony and the baby rumours.

But we're surely just as happy for the couple as we are shook by the news. Because, you know, we are a sucker for love and good news over here at Pulse Weddings!
