However, there is one bump in the road before she can reach that milestone: a new pair of prosthetic legs, and they aren't cheap.
This bodybuilder born with no hands and feet needs your help to start competing
28-year-old Vanessa Calafiore is just weeks away from her moment in the spotlight.
"I am hoping to raise enough money so that I can get new prosthetic legs made for the competition as my current prosthetic legs are not the same design," she says on her GoFundMe page, which is just over halfway to her $15,000 goal after only two days. "By competing I hope to shine a little light on how if you believe in yourself anything is possible."
Watching Calafiore at work in the gym is nothing short of inspiring, as the aspiring competitor hasn't let anything stop her in her journey to build a stronger, fitter body.
"Even someone like myself with no hands, no feet and chronic pain can achieve anything," she said. "Preparing for the competition has definitely had its challenges but I'm determined to make it!"
