Elegant styles, effortless print mixes for brand's SS18 Collection

Nigerian-Austrian brand Fulani Fashion does vibrant prints, chic styles for SS18 collection.

The Nigerian-Austrian brand reveals a vibrant collection inspired by a sub-genre of R n B music- Young M.A's 'Quiet Storm'- laced with slow tempos, relaxed rhythms and subtle dynamics.

The collection pulls in bold yet subtle hues including lavender, lemon/yellow, purple and blue in ready-to-wear and red carpet worthy styles favouring luxurious silk and chiffon print fabrics, viscose, cotton and jersey for a soft, sensual finish to the styles.

Floor grazing bandeau maxi dresses, clavicle baring sling tops paired with layered tulle detailed skirt, chic print dresses, print co-ords, detailed print jumpsuits, ruffled top paired with print shorts.

Chic flared print pants, rich lavender evening piece, print shirt dresses, skirts, playsuits, body grazing styles, Grecian themed dresses and so on were featured in the summery collection.

The pieces were named Agata, Olasupo, Anita, Anna and Dany, Anna and Ola, Anna and Sande, Barbs and Ola, Barbs and Sande, Candace, Dimi, Jeli and Dany, Jeli and Sande, Jowy, Lauraa, Masee, Mirimo, Omatu, Quiet and Storm for a sort of personality tied to each look.

The creative director and designer of the brand Omatu Fulani was largely inspired by Young M.A's 'Quiet Storm' which the collection is aptly named after.

'Sex and the City' author Candace Bushnell reportedly mentioned how she felt like royalty after wearing a piece off the collection to the 'Women Of The Year Gala' in Vienna where she received a lifetime achievement award.
