UK Guardian tips star to dominate in 2015

The energetic performer alongside Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, M.anifest from Ghana, Esi from Ghana and Patoranking are five acts set to dominate Africa musically in 2015 according the prestigious Guardian.

Nigerian singer Yemi Alade keeps breaking boundaries as she makes The Guardian's feature piece titled "The Sound Of Africa in 2015" which was published on the 26th of January 2015.

The energetic performer alongside Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, M.anifest from Ghana, Esi from Ghana and Patoranking are five acts set to dominate Africa musically in 2015 according the prestigious Guardian.

"Yemi Alade, Nigeria

A protégé of iconic Nigerian producer OJB Jezreel, Yemi Alade has grown in leaps and bounds since winning a talent show as a teenager in 2009. She was Africa’s breakout star in 2014 thanks to her smash hit 'Johnny', about a search for a cheating lover. A year after its release, the song is still being played across the continent and her music video has racked up over 12 million views on YouTube."
