Born into a family of five with Alex as the second child and first son. He took his first major step into music in 2000 when he recorded his first mixtape with the group- “Souljazz of Genesis” at Dj Funky Jay’s studio, Ebute Meta. He went solo in 2002 after leaving the defunct group – “Canaries” and left the scene to focus on studies till 2006 when he released into the airwaves, “Aye Yi” produced by Rymzo. The single was tagged “highly phylosophical” on Raypower Home Drive.

Alex Amos aka Oluwasomidotun Alexander Amos born 6th of May, in Lagos is a Hip Hop and Rap artiste but has a talent and versatility in combining and perfecting both rapping and singing abilities. Not new on the scene, he had a single «Aye Yi» in 2006, produced By Rymzo which was included in his «White Sneakers and Blue Jeans» Promo Compilation.
«Miss independent» also known as «omode yi classic» was his ticket back into the Scene in 2010 with the video showing on all major stations. This brought him several shows, appearances, interviews etc. His latest single «Follow the Leader»- a techno-pop song Enjoy.
