According to reports, Janet confirmed working on new music weeks after she was spotted with her Qatar based billionaire hubby, Wissam Al Mana.

The new music and proposed tour is coming seven years after , her 10th album was released in 2008.
In a Vimeo shared on Saturday, May 16, 2015, which coincided with her 49th birthday, Janet made the announcement in a voice-over statement underneath a music studio visuals.

"I promised you'd hear it from my lips, and now you will. This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going," she said.
