Singer gets arrested again in the visuals for "Prayer"

Dammy Krane recreates the events of that day in June, as he gives thanks for his release.

Following his detention, release and subsequent return to Nigeria, Dammy Krane has released the visuals for his 'victory' song, "Prayer".

The months since his arrest in Miami on allegations of credit card fraud have dealt Dammy Krane different slices of the Nigerian pie; many questions remain unanswered and in the music video for "Prayer", the afro-pop act put his experiences in focus.

Directed by Ola Farounbi, the video begins on a definitive note by recreating the singer's arrest and detention.

Over a drum-heavy instrumentation and a lonesome saxophone that will remind you of Fela's Egypt 80, Dammy Krane's vocals and lyrics take a celebratory tone as he appreciates his victory over haters.

The video continues along these lines, until Dammy, visibly free from detention, begins his trademark antics and dance moves.

His thanksgiving is punctuated with shots of him in a private jet and aerial footage of what appears to be an American city.

Dammy Krane has expressed his regrets over his alleged run-in with the law and his desire to get back to making music.
