Rapper scores his first number 1 album with 'Dark Sky Paradise'

The G.O.O.D Music artiste's third album sells 173,000 copies in its first week to achieve this personal record.

Big Sean has had his first number one album of his career. The rapper moved 173,000 copies of his latest album 'Dark Sky Paradise' in its first week of release.

The album topped the Billboard 200 thanks to the number of albums sold in its debut week.

The rapper thanked his fans on Twitter for the achievement. "Thank u guys for an amazing week and giving me my 1st #1 album! Dark Sky Paradise! The support means everything. truly Blessed!" tweeted the rapper.

Big Sean's album features cameos from Drake, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, Lil' Wayne, John Legend and others.
