Actor talks playing 'Kyle Stevens Adedoyin' in Mildred Okwo's Suru L'ere'

According to AMVCA winning actor, Tope Tedela, who plays Kyle Stevens in the anticipated 'Suru L'ere' movie, he was 'dazed' when Mildred Okwo approached him with the role.

Tope Tedela is set to thrill fans as Kyle Stevens Adedoyin inundefinedwhich is one of the movies every movie lover is counting down to.

The actor who got a whole new transformation for the role, spoke on his getting the role, his character, and becoming a suave metrosexual Kyle.

On getting the role he said;

"When I was offered the role in 'Surulere' by , I was dazed. I wondered why she thought I would pull it off.

"I had no idea why she would look at me from top to bottom, and offer me the role. So, I got the script, and I took up the challenge.

"She [Mildred] asked 'are you going to be able to do this thing?' I'm like 'yes. I'll do it. why am I an actor? You don't want to do same old, same old thing. You want to get out of the box as much as you can, and do something new.

"And I said to myself 'this role, to the best of my ability, I will bring justice to it.

On becoming his character.

"I used a friend of mine as a case study. I had seen him a lot, so I sort of understood how he operate, and I took a bit from him.

"And I really rehearsed. I worked on it at home, like you would see me at home working. I'm sure my family were wondering what the heck was wrong with me.

"I just kept working and working, exchanged notes with the director, and

was born."

'Surulere' is a romantic comedy developed and produced by, written by Richard Odilu and executive produced by Rita Dominic for the Audrey Silva Company.

Set in Lagos, Nigeria, the movie focuses on Seun Ajayi’s character - Arinze, and his life as an insignificant graduate trainee in a fictional agency, a serial debtor and a desperate young man eager to get ahead.

The movie also features undefined, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Linda Ejiofor, Enyinna Nwigwe, Gregory Ojefua and Bikiya Graham- Douglas.
