Everything we learnt from the movie trailer

From Nonso's surprise wedding announcement to tension between the Onwukas, Cokers and now the Winstons.

The clip released on October 2, 2017 features Banky W, Sola Sobowale, Ali Baba, Enyinna Nwigwe, Beverly Naya, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Patience Ozokwor.

The sequel officially titled "The Wedding Party 2 – Destination Dubai” makes its debuts in Nigerian cinemas on December 15, 2017.

Here's what we learned from the trailer.

1. Nonso Onwuka’s proposal might have actually come as a surprise to him too.

The trailer opens up with Nonso (played by Nwigwe) saying: “This might come as a bit of a surprise, I’m getting married”. Part one of the movie saw Deardre Winston trying to get Nonso's attention.

The couple are at dinner at the Atlantis in Dubai when a diver comes to the front of the glass tank with a sign reading “Will you marry me?”. Winston sees this and immediately kisses Nonso who is shocked as to why she’s kissed him in the middle of dinner.

2. Rosie and Dozie Onwuka still have unfinished business.

It seems as though Rosie (played by Beverly Naya) still can’t leave Dozie (played by Banky W) alone.

In the prequel, Rosie tried to hook up with Dozie on the day of his wedding. In the new teaser clip, Dozie’s ex can be seen whining on him at a party.

3. The Cokers are once again involved in another Onwuka wedding.

As the wedding plans unfold for Deadre and Nonso’s wedding, it looks as though Dunni Coker’s family is a major part of the wedding planning.

This might be because Dunni (played by Adesua Etomi) and Deadre are best friends.

4. Lady Obianuju Onwuka is still spicy.

From reading her facial expressions, it seems as though Lady Obianuju (played by Iretiola Doyle) who is once again the mother of the groom is still very spicy.

5. Mrs. Tinuade Coker has a new rival.

It looks like Tinuade Coker (played by Sola Sobowale) has a new rival. Her challenger is a character played by Patience Ozokwor and they both can’t seem to get along.
