"Room 315" When Niyi Akinmolayan premiered short film on mental illness [photos]

Directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, "Room 315" is a collaborative project which sheds light on mental illness.

Niyi Akinmolayan premiered and released the short film "Room 315" on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Filmhouse Imax Cinema, Lekki.

The premiere was attended by Naz Onuzo, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Kene Mkparau, Abosi Ogba, Etinosa, Emma Uduma among others.

A short film which sheds light on mental health, "Room 315" is written by Abosi Ogba, who won the scriptwriting competition held by Akinmolayan in July, 2016.

The short film follows Dr. Stone, in sessions with his clients as he discovers how life holds all four of them, including himself, in one intricate web.

"Room 315" stars Greg OJ and Jessica Opara as Adam and Nina respectively. It also stars Tina Mba and Bimbo Manuel Edwina and Dr Stone respectively.

Emmanuel K. Uduma and Patience Oluwafunmilayo worked on the project as producer and production manager respectively.

Joseph Oladunjoye, the DOP behind "Jenifa's Diary" worked as the cinematographer. Oluwafemi Dada worked on the project as the production designer.

The short film was shot on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
