"North East" to premiere at Nollywood industry night

The next edition of GDC's Nolly Thursdays will hold on June 23, 2016, with the premiere of movie "North East."

The next edition of the event is set to hold on Thursday, June 23, 2016, with OC Ukeje and cast of "North East" attending the premiere of movie.

OC Ukeje  is a Nigerian actor, model and musician. He came into prominence after winning the Amstel Malta Box Office reality show. His first screen appearance was in "White Waters."

He also featured in "Black November" by Jeta Amata, and was cast in the award winning South African movie "Ayanda."

"North East" tells the story of an Igbo Christian physiotherapist, who embarks on a romantic relationship with one of his patients, who is a Muslim. He faces vehement opposition on the basis of religion and tribe from her father.

Nolly Thursdays will air on TrybeTv(GoTVngCh.97)  by 5:30pm and ONTV(UHF Ch.41, GoTV Ch.96) by 7:30pm.
