It's three months into 2016, but the year has offered us some performers bend the concept of reality to its breaking point, delivering outstanding and remarkable performances.

Portrayed to be the ‘life of the party’ in the film, Kiki as Joke really did bring life to the movie as a whole, while proving that ‘talking’ is indeed an action verb.

“Couple of Days” starred the actress as the blunt, smart-mouthed Joke, married to the character (Lanre). Serving as the perfect 'comic relief,' the actress left us interested in seeing her star in a typical comedy film.

Lala Akindoju as Beauty and Landlady is one that has left lots of people impressed.

How, really, do you play a landlady and an office receptionist at once? It’s one thing to play a landlady who just has an eight to five job, and it’s another thing to have to transform and dramatize these as two different characters.

Kemi Lala Akindoju effortlessly brought these two characters to life in “Suru L’ere.”

She recently won the “best comedy actress" at the 2016 AMVCA for the character Jenifa, which every TV lover probably has come to fall in love with.

Some actors take command of the space around them, and Akindele has found a way to do that with the unforgettable character Jenifer. Three months into the new year, and she’s still doing a good and entertaining job.

She recently starred as the gentle Kate in "Fifty", but did a good job at reaffirming her position as that perfect enigmatic character in "Stalker."

With the chemistry between her and co-star Jim Iyke, the actress brought the character Kayla to life with a sparkle of seriousness and believability.

Her portrayal of Moji, who after a series of uncontrollable events, decides to run away from her fears, is worth appauding.

We could go on to say “but it’s Kehinde and she never misses an opportunity to bring a character to life.” mBankole effortlessly projected a tender and aggressive young woman set out to discover herself and overcome her fears.
