Madea To Be Murdered!

Tyler Perry doesn't give a hoot loosing Madea if fans stop loving her.

The famous wig-wearing old hag Madea may be heading to her grave if and only if, fans cease to love her. Film producer, Tyler Perry has confirmed to Today Show, "As long as people want to see it, she’ll be around, but the minute they stop coming, that broad’s gonna die a quick death."

Fans may be disappointed to hear this but Perry says, even though it’s his signature character, he’s more into producing his new TV series on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN  network, “it’s all about the people, man. The power's in the hands of the people at home,” he said while joking about Madea's forthcoming funeral film.

However, the film maker gave out some good news saying he is in the process of making the upcoming, A Madea Christmas for fans, but if they lose interest he’s just fine kissing the matriarch good-bye. Madea has been on for years but critics say she’s somewhat stereotypical.

While he’s seemingly prepared to bury the Madea when the time comes, Tyler said she’s likely not going anywhere as long as she continues to draw movie-goers to the franchise. “As long as people want to see it, she’ll be around,” he said.
