Show set to return in 2017

After two years, your favourite and entertaining series "Gidi Up" is set for a 2017 return.

Ndani TV has announced that the series about four friends hustling and trying to survive in Lagos, will return for a third season in 2017.

The last season of "Gidi Up" followed four lead characters, Obi (OC Ukeje), Eki (Titilope Sonuga), Tokunbo (Deyemi Okanlawon), Yvonne (Somkele Iyama), and their cell friends Folarin (Daniel Effiong), Sharon (Adesuwa Etomi) and Meka (Anthony Monjaro).

The series which started up as an idea from Jadesola Osiberu (the writer and producer), premiered its first season in 2013 - the first episode aired on February 20, 2013 and the concluding episode on April 16, 2014.

The upcoming third season will be created by Jadesola Osiberu, Titilope Sonuga, and Lekan Olarenwaju.
