Aleppo, Kowa: October 20, 2016: In case you missed it, the highly anticipated cultural and political drama, ‘Sons of The Caliphate’, premiered on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

The response and excitement on social media was phenomenal as praises and encomiums were showered on the show which stars some of the most prominent names in the Film and TV industry, including and many others.

Thousands of impressions were created on twitter and this triggered a lot of conversation on subjects such as Nuhu Bula and Dikko Loko’s tussle on who will get Binta with fans coming up with new hashtags for Dikko’s character;

In the first episode, we are thrown into the whirlwind world of of Kalifah, Nuhu, Diko and the beautiful Binta as they navigate the treacherous waters of corruption, assassinations, betrayals and love.

We see firsthand what happens when politics and personal interests pit these new faces of the Northern elite against each other. The first episode also introduces us to key characters in the series and also lays the foundation for the intrigues and power play to come later in the season.

This week, the political scheming begins as Alhaji Sani Bula the billionaire intends to throw his son Nuhu into the political mix for selfish reasons. While Alhaji  Loko embarks on moves that will make or break his political structure.
