Actor talks 1st time on set, transition from modelling to acting, getting good roles

Nollywood actor, undefinedwho is popular for movies like "Shattered Romance," "Weekend Getaway," "I'll Take my Chances," among others, was recently a guest at Pulse TV.

In an exclusive interview, the actor spoke on on his first time on set, transition from modelling to acting, roles he can't take and more.

" I don't play characters that are too far away from me. For instance, if you wanted me to play Bryan of another tribe that can speak another language, and I had to learn another language, I would make a fool of myself. I wouldn't play it.

"Going from supermodel to actor was very hard. I was living in South Africa at the time, and Mr Kunle called me up, and he was like "have you done any movies?" I said "stage plays - yes, movies - No.

'He said 'Ok. You should .' So when I got back, I spoke to some people, they put me through. I actually shot my first movie in South Africa, "Heart to Heart."

"When I saw the script, I almost passed out. Like 'ah ah, what is this." It was really big. They said 'you're playing a lead, so you are supposed to get the full dossier.

I got the full script. I had to read everything, and it was like and a hundred and something pages. I said "nah, I'm not doing this.

"Maybe I might have a bit of challenges , but so far, it's been in areas that I can control. It has not overwhelmed me yet to the point that I'm like "mehn, this is too much.

I would say that if you are a consistent actor, you would get good roles. If you are a diverse actor, you would get good role.

What I see with this industry is that they start to stereotype you early. When they see you as a bad boy, that's you. When they see you as a banker, pastor, father, gateman, that's you. You hardly see people that will strike across being a gateman to a billionaire.

"I try not to share too much because the thing about too much information is that when it gets back at you not everybody knows why you shared it. Just to avoid mis-haps i would rather not put very sensitive things out there."

"I would also advice other people out there not to because i know a lot of people get into the social media craze and put a lot of things out there.

"This industry that will make you is the same industry that will break you. So be very cautious of what you put out there so if the bad press comes you know that the sensitive things are not out there
