Show gets renewed for 4th season

"Being Mary Jane" which stars Gabrielle Union as Mary Jane Paul, a successful cable news anchor, has been renewed for a fourth season.

BET's high-rated TV series undefinedwhich stars Gabrielle Union as the lead character,  has been renewed for a fourth season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series, which has ranked No. 1 for black viewers between 18 and 49 for its entire run, will kick off production in Atlanta late this year.

“Being Mary Jane” premiered on January 7, 2014, starring Gabrielle Union as Mary Jane Paul, a successful cable news anchor who has a closet packed with designer clothes and shoes, a beautiful home, a nice car, and the drive to achieve even greater heights.

As Mary Jane looks to start a family of her own to share life's greatest gifts, she discovers who she really is and the people who help define her.

The show returned for its third season on October 20, 2015, and was last aired on December 15, 2015.
