If the world is ever in jeopardy, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is certainly the right guy to have on speed-dial. America’s favourite time-battling hero is back after four years [2010] with 24: Live Another Day. This newly released trailer of his upcoming 12-episode event series promises that '24' will be more heart-stopping than fans ever thought of.

Based on what we see in this brand new sneak peek, the 12-episode event series will pick up with Jack in exile running from the CIA, who thinks he’s an enemy of the state. But he’s just trying to help ...as usual!

24: Live Another Day will have Jack Bauer doing all sorts of bada** things to try to avert a global disaster (did he mention world war in the trailer?) while also trying to evade the clutches of his own untrusting (ungrateful and ruthless) government.The event series also star Yvonne Strahovski, Tate Donovan, and Benjamin Bratt, while Mary Lynn Rajskub will be reprising her role as Chloe O’Brian. It comes to TV on May 5.

It’s certain that fans have been dying for more 24 and more Bauer since the show went off the air in 2010. So, if this trailer is what we think it is, it’s going to be one wild 24-hour ride.
