Viola Davis' daughter was her mom on Halloween

Viola Davis' daughter, Genesis, had one wish for her mommy on Halloween and that's for her to finally win an Oscar award!

When the Emmy award winning actress asked her 4-year-old daughter what she wanted for Halloween, Genesis chose to be her mom! In fact, she wanted to reincarnate her mother's historic Emmy Award win including how Davis looked they day she picked up her trophy!

Viola posted the precious pic of Genesis on her  Instagram on Halloween to share just how perfect her daughter's costume was. Dressed in a sleeveless white dress just like the one Viola wore when she won her Emmy, Genesis sported a fake afro to look even more like her mommy. She even has her own fake trophy… a stature which looked very similar to the prestigious OSCAR gold award.

"So…..the Elsa costume? Didn’t work for her. The Pirate? A no go. So she finally said, ‘I just want to be YOU mommy’! So… uhh….this is ME,” Viola captioned the pic.

As she grins from ear to ear, Genesis is clearly excited to be her mom. And if you think Viola had to do any convincing to get her daughter to be her mommy for Halloween, think again!
