Wizkid is the man of the people

Wizkid on our photo of the day takes a time out with fans.

On our photo of the day, we bring to you the man of the moment and the man of the people, Wizkid!

Wizkid shows us on this photo that he isn't just the internationally acclaimed star that we all know but is also a man of the ordinary people.

This picture was taken when Wizkd went back to his hood, Surulere and he had the opportunity to have an up close and personal time with the people from his hood. He shows us in this photo that he still relates to the place where the whole music dream started from.

Just to add another feather to his already overflowing cap, Wizkid has been nominated for the Soul Train Awards. The Nigerian superstar was nominated in the best dance performance category for his ‘Come Closer’ video.

This is coming just after it was announced that he was nominated for two MOBO Awards. He will compete with Chris Brown, Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Solange Knowles to win the category.
