The party held on September 11, 2016, and it featured an intimate group of her Ebony Life TV team, TIFF Directors, Nollywood stars and business associates in Toronto’s Downtown at the exclusive celebrity hot spot, Momofuku Daisho.

Nollywood stars at the party included Genevieve Nnaji, OC Ukeje, Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli, Kemi Adetiba, Adesua Etomi, and others.

From the photos, it can be clearly seen that Mo Abudu had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday.

On September 12, 2016, Mo Abudu joined the 'City to City' panel at the TIFF Industry Conference at the Glenn Gould Studio. The panel focused on Nigerian Cinema 2016: At the forefront.

Mo Abudu was also featured in Variety Magazine earlier in the week and was quoted as saying “I think it’s [TIFF] an opportunity for the world to see what we can do.”

On June 19, 2016, Mo Abudu celebrated the father of her two kids.
