Khloe Kardashian confirms that a plane she was onboard was forced into an emergency landing in Las Vegas from Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 12. The star is doing ok.

Kardashian and stylist Joyce Bonelli were flying to New York, where she is expected to be on 'Good Morning America,' 'The Howard Stern Show,' and 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Wednesday.

Reports say few minutes into the flight, smoke filled the cockpit and a burning smell dominated the passenger cabin. The pilots opted to land in Las Vegas, which is only about a half hour away from L.A. via plane.

Gossip Cop reports that no major fire erupted, no one was harmed in any way, and the flight arrived safely in Vegas, though it’s unclear at this point what kind of mechanical problem caused the issue. She later tweeted:

With time to kill, Kardashian opted to live stream from the Vegas airport, warning followers, “Joyce and I are in full of effect.” She followed up with a photo of herself drinking from a champagne glass with the caption, “Kocktails with Khloé and Joyce!!”
