Tito Jackson has done his best to put those speculations to rest by confirming that Janet is carrying her child herself and not with the help of a surrogate.

The veteran singer and member of the now defunct Jackson Five made the revelation during a recent radio interview.

Tito confirmed that 50-year-old Janet is indeed pregnant and is “hoping for a healthy baby,” while speaking with Bravo host, Andy Cohen during the Sirius XM radio show, “Andy Cohen Live” .

"Janet is very well pregnant. She’s doing very well, taking it easy. As you know, she’s off tour, so she’s protecting her health.”

Cohen pointed out the rumours which stems from the fact that Janet may be too old to be carrying a child by herself hence the need for a surrogate.

Tito confirmed the pregnancy while adding that he “doesn’t know whether she’s going to have a boy or girl.”

He did not reveal when the singer was due.
